Have you ever been mistaken for someone else? Maybe someone thought you were someone they knew, or they got you mixed up with someone who has the same first name as you do. Another common case of mistaken identity is someone thinking you are an employee of the store you are in. This usually happens because you look like you know what’s going on and they feel helplessly lost or confused. There is something powerful about having confidence in the knowledge of your surroundings and how things work.
