The old saying goes, “Seeing is believing.” But this is not always the case. There are those who saw Jesus live and in person, they saw his miracles and heard his message first hand, yet failed to believe. This is an issue that haunts Paul as he writes his letter to the Roman church.
Israel has seen her Messiah and yet has not believed. They have rejected their inheritance and hope in favor of their own pursuit of righteousness. They have failed to confess with their mouths and believe in their hearts that Jesus is Lord.
Join us this Sunday as we continue to consider the faithlessness of Israel to her King, and how it connects with our own hearts.
