In the Church we know that Christmas, or the “Christ Mass”, is a celebration of the birth of the Messiah. We enjoy singing the hymns and carols of the season and our hearts are moved by the Hallelujah Chorus at the conclusion of Handel’s Messiah.
The issue seems to be that in the midst of the celebration of God putting on flesh and dwelling with us, that we sometimes forget just why this baby was born. He was born to die. He was the ultimate gift of love, and he was given for and to more than just us.
Join us as we conclude our series, Come + Together, and remember the importance of giving the greatest gift of love.
